Academic Advising
Your academic advisor is your most important partner in navigating UAS. Whether you're choosing a major, planning for transfer, recovering from a rough semester, or mapping your path to graduation — advisors are here to help you succeed.
What Advisors Help With
🗺️
Degree Planning
Map out your 2, 3, or 4-year plan from first semester to graduation. Identify which courses to take and when to maximize efficiency and stay on track.
📋
Course Registration
Get help choosing the right courses, understanding prerequisites, navigating registration holds, and requesting late adds or withdrawals.
🔄
Transfer Credit Evaluation
Work with your advisor to understand how transfer credits apply to your UAS degree. Advisor reviews unofficial transcripts and helps resolve credit disputes.
🎓
Graduation Audit
In your junior or senior year, request a graduation audit to verify that you've satisfied all requirements for your degree. Required before submitting the graduation application.
⚠️
Academic Difficulty Support
If you're struggling with a course, facing a personal crisis, or on academic probation, your advisor is the first person to contact. Early intervention dramatically improves outcomes.
