School of Education
Alaska's premier destination for educator preparation. Accredited programs guiding teachers and leaders across the state.
CAEP Accreditation: The Gold Standard
CAEP accreditation is the gold standard for teacher education programs. It represents more than just a seal of approval; it ensures that our programs are rigorously evaluated and continuously improved to meet or exceed national standards. This accreditation confirms our dedication to excellence and the consistent, high-quality experience we provide to all students.
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) serves as the recognizing accrediting body for teacher preparation programs in the State of Alaska. Attaining CAEP accreditation demonstrates that our School of Education adheres to rigorous standards, ensuring our programs effectively prepare educators who are competent and well-equipped for their teaching roles.
