Lakefront Housing
UAS housing is located on the edge of Auke Lake. Choose from first-year residence halls to senior apartments, with spectacular glacier views and minutes from class.
Dining & Socializing
The Mourant Cafeteria and Spike's Café serve fresh, locally sourced food, hot drinks, and snacks. It's the central social hub for students on the Juneau campus.
Outdoor Recreation Center
The REC center features a gymnasium, bouldering wall, cardio equipment, and outdoor gear rentals. Gear up for hiking, kayaking, camping, or winter skiing.
Clubs & Activities
Join student government, outdoor clubs, gaming circles, formline carving workshops, or academic societies. There are dozens of ways to connect.

Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO) helps you transition smoothly to university life. Learn about your campus resources, explore your new home town, meet your peers, and connect with faculty before classes begin.
We offer separate orientation programs for residential Juneau students, hybrid/commuter students in Ketchikan and Sitka, and fully online distance learners.
