Admissions
Non-Degree Registration
You don't need to pursue a degree to take UAS classes. Non-degree seeking registration lets you enroll in most UAS courses for professional development, personal enrichment, or prerequisite completion — with a streamlined application process.
Who Should Register Non-Degree?
✓Professionals completing CEU or recertification requirements
✓Students completing prerequisites before applying to a degree program
✓Community members seeking personal enrichment
✓High school seniors taking dual enrollment before formal admission
✓Students testing UAS before committing to a full degree
✓Post-baccalaureate learners adding skills in a new field
How to Register
- 1Complete the UA Non-Degree Application at UAOnline. No essays or transcripts required for most courses. $25 application fee applies.
- 2Once your UA ID is issued (1–3 business days), register for courses via UAOnline. You must meet any listed prerequisites.
- 3Pay tuition through your UAOnline account before the payment deadline. Non-degree students pay the same per-credit tuition rates as degree-seeking students.
Restrictions
Non-degree students may not enroll in graduate-level courses, receive institutional financial aid, or use federal student loans. You are limited to 14 credits per semester unless approved by the Registrar. Non-degree semesters count toward your undergraduate credit limit.
