Alaska Performance Scholarship
The Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS) rewards Alaska high school graduates who meet rigorous academic standards with renewable college scholarship funding — usable at UAS and all UA campuses.
Award Tiers (Annual Amounts)

Eligibility Requirements
✓Alaska resident for at least 2 years before high school graduation
✓Graduate from an Alaska high school
✓Meet GPA and standardized test score requirements for your tier
✓Complete a rigorous curriculum (math through pre-calculus, 4 years English)
✓Enroll at an eligible Alaska college within 2 years of high school graduation
✓Maintain GPA requirements each year to renew
How to Apply
APS eligibility is determined by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE). Apply at acpe.alaska.gov and designate UAS as your institution. Once awarded, your scholarship is applied directly to your UAS student account each semester.
