The University of Alaska Foundation manages hundreds of endowed scholarships for UAS students — one application in Scholarship Universe makes you eligible for all scholarships you qualify for automatically.

Featured Scholarships

Lee & Polly Mathis Scholarship

Up to $2,500/year

For UAS students from rural Southeast Alaska communities demonstrating financial need and community involvement.

CIRI Foundation / UAS Award

Up to $3,000/year

For Alaska Native students enrolled in any UAS degree program. Renewable with satisfactory academic progress.

UAS Foundation Excellence Award

$1,500/year

Merit-based award for continuing UAS students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and demonstrated campus leadership.

Southeast Alaska Business Leaders Scholarship

$1,000–$2,000/year

For UAS Business & Public Administration students with professional experience and a career goal in Southeast Alaska business.

Margery Green Memorial Scholarship

$750/year

For UAS Education students who are Alaska Native or committed to teaching in rural or indigenous Alaska communities.

How to Apply

All UA Foundation scholarships for UAS students are managed through Scholarship Universe — a single application system. Log in with your UA credentials at scholarship universe before the February 15 deadline to be considered for the upcoming academic year awards.
